Retakes and classroom group pictures will be taken the morning of November 30.
This is also the due date for order forms.
A Personal Invitation to a Gift Exchange
I'd like to once again propose a gift exchange: you give us your toughest, real-life parenting challenge(s) and we'll give you a strategy for addressing it over the Winter Break!
Interested? If so, please join us Friday morning (December 9) from 8:45-9:45 a.m. for our parent leadership coaching session, "Who's the Boss?" For those of you who attended last year’s session, we will continue to focus on the art of limit setting. However, we will be presenting new role plays, including one with sibling conflict, which could also be applied to conflicts with a friend if you have an only child.
There will be fun, food, and wisdom shared so please Save the Date now and plan to RSVP to the invite we’ll be sending out after Thanksgiving! We want to personalize the "lesson" so take a minute to write a brief description in this Google document in total anonymity. Even if you can't attend (and we really hope you can!), you can still participate by sharing your challenges and we will share this valuable information with you.
In closing, on this Thanksgiving, as for the past 21, I am deeply thankful for the opportunity every day to “lead the journey” at TMA, to be part of something bigger than myself, and see visible evidence of our collective return on investment in the lives of the children we serve. I hope each of you has a wonderful Thanksgiving and carves out time to reflect on your blessings and the amazing person your child is becoming.
The winner of the yearbook cover contest is Upper Elementary student Suzanna!
We can’t wait to see her art grace the cover! The runner-up is Lower Elementary student Carter.
Thanks to all of the students who gave us such wonderful works of art.
