The Kindergarten program at TMA is a full day program¹ for your kindergarten age child. Students spend half the day in a preschool class where they participate in Montessori activities with other 3, 4, and 5 year olds. For the other half of the day, the five year olds come together as their own community in a separate classroom. Before and after-school care is also available. See our Fee Schedule for options and costs. The goals of the Kindergarten program are to:
More details about this program can be viewed in our Sampling of the Kindergarten Curriculum. The studentteacher ratio for this class is 1 teacher for each 10 children. There are two teachers in each classroom so there are 20 children in each class.
